In May this year, ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION were asked to put together some of the technical elements for a 90th Anniversary Celebration AGM at the Telford International Centre in Shropshire.
Sound and lighting designs were drawn up and detailed CAD plans were produced to communicate between the various contractors including the client's setting company, film company, venue, the venue's in house rigging company and our good friends at Missing Link.
The sound design comprised of a d&b line array speaker system to ensure every one of the 1000 delegates in the auditorium could hear the presenters and contributors clearly. The neat and compact system was installed by Dave Heath who kindly took control of the digital sound console for the event, ensuring Acclaimed's high quality sound production was maintained.
The lighting design comprised of even house lighting across the venue as well as lighting the stage with an even coverage of white light, assisting the three camera shoot. The set was brought to life with Acclaimed's custom designed poppy breakup texture which was projected onto the set from four Martin Mac250 moving light fixtures. The lighting system installation and control was capably looked after by our old friend Nick Morris ably assisted by Chris Johnson.
