ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION were approached by Avenue Services to work along side him for one of his clients. Matt Kefford is an up-coming singer-songwriter and he wanted to make a big impact at his album launch.
ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION worked to pull the lighting equipment Matt had already supplied, through his contacts and Avenue Services, together into an effective design and supplement a few additionals from the Acclaimed hire stock.
Along with the twelve Mac250 moving light fixtures and twenty-four LED par cans, we added dimming and conventional soft front light as well as a heavy backlight to help pic Matt out from the rest of the band. We also provided control from an Avolites Pearl Tiger and a HazeBase hazer.
The launch was recorded for promotional video use so keeping a good light on Matt the whole time was key. ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION provided an creative lighting programmer to control the lighting so that as the songs changed mood and tempo, the lighting went with it, helping to create an atmosphere and emphasis to the lyrics.
